Shutdown of “Soundtrack by Twitch”

As of July 17th, the copyright-free music library ‘Soundtrack by Twitch’ will be permanently discontinued. The service will no longer be accessible after this date, and any content submitted or delivered during this period will not be displayed or processed by this DSP.

Soundtrack by Twitch, created in September 2020 as a response to an influx of DMCA takedown notices affecting videos with copyrighted music, provided a solution for creators to use music without risking strikes on their content. However, with limited adoption within the Twitch community and numerous alternative options now accessible, Twitch has made the decision to shut down Soundtrack by Twitch on July 17th.
